Ricardo Freijó Larios

Ricardo Freijó Larios was born in Havana, Cuba, and graduated in Drawing and Painting from the prestigious Escuela Superior de Arte San Alejandro. He also holds a degree in Artistic Education. His formative years in Cuba greatly influenced his artistic perspective, grounding him in both technical skill and the cultural richness of his homeland.

Freijó Larios has had a distinguished artistic career, participating in six solo exhibitions and more than twenty group shows. His work spans various mediums, but he is particularly recognized for his exceptional drawing techniques. His dedication to his craft led him to win the Drawing Award at the 1995 Arte Salón Playa competition. Additionally, he served as the President of the Jury at the International Humor Festival Marcos Behemara, further cementing his reputation within the Cuban art community. His work has garnered significant recognition, with publications in the Spanish art magazine Artepoli and the book Artistas con Mayúsculas by artist and critic Ángel Alonso.
