Lennart Allan Olausson

Lennart Allan Olausson (1944) born in Stockholm, Sweden, is a renowned Swedish painter and graphic artist. He is best known for his photorealistic depictions of interiors and landscapes. Olausson studied at Konstfack (1961-1965) and the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts (1966-1971), laying the foundation for his successful career. He currently resides in Solna, where he also maintains his studio, and is married to Katarina Olausson Säll.

His artistic career is distinguished by his focus on photorealism, particularly in his representations of architectural interiors and landscapes. He has exhibited extensively in both solo and group exhibitions across Sweden and internationally, including prominent galleries and art fairs. His work has evolved over the years, with a particular emphasis on creating public decorations for institutions such as the Danderyd Hospital (1982), Serafens Vårdcentral (1983-84), and the Nacka Hospital (1985). He is a member of the Swedish Graphic Society (KRO) and has contributed to various publications, including books on contemporary graphics and art.

Olausson’s works are represented in several prestigious collections, including the National Museum of Stockholm, Moderna Museet, and the Swedish Art Council. His art can also be found in various state, municipal, and regional collections, as well as in public spaces such as hospitals and government buildings. Throughout his career, he has been recognized with numerous exhibitions, both individual and collective, in venues such as Liljevalchs Konsthall, Strängnäs Museum, and the Art Fair in Sollentuna.
