Fernando Toro

Fernando Toro Píriz (1959) was born in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, into an environment immersed in art, as he grew up in the studio of his father, the artist Fernando Ramírez. From an early age, he developed a passion for painting and pursued studies at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Jerez, later continuing his artistic education in a self-taught manner. His early exposure to his father’s work and his own deep engagement with the creative process shaped his distinctive artistic approach.

Over the years, he has exhibited his works both nationally and internationally, showcasing his talent in a range of solo and group exhibitions. His artistic journey has taken him across Spain, as well as to the United Kingdom and the United States, where his work has gained recognition. Beyond painting, he has also ventured into engraving and sculpture, always seeking to explore and expand his creative boundaries.
