Tracy Levine

Tracy Levine is a contemporary artist known for her “intuitive semi-abstract work” that captures the “spirit of the landscapes”. With a BA (Hons) in Fine Art and over a decade of experience in Higher Education, Levine combines an academic understanding of composition with an “immediacy and spontaneity” derived from working in situ. Her style is characterized by a fluid handling of media and a sophisticated color palette, likely informed by her 15 years as a recognized expert in 20th-century decorative arts, specifically the ceramics of Clarice Cliff.

Tracy Levine has established a significant presence in the UK art scene, operating from her purpose-built studio in the Lake District. Her professional standing is underscored by her status as an elected member of the prestigious Lake Artists Society and her history of awards, including first prizes at the Cumbria OPEN and the Create Longridge competition. Her work has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions, notably a major show at The Gallery at Rheged in 2014.
